Here at IWOOT, whether you’ve planned a present well in advance or have left it kind of last minute, we know that we have an amazing Father’s Day gift selection sure to please any Padre. This blog piece is dedicated to you last minute buyers, so don’t panic! We’ve selected five of our personal favourites from our Father’s Day gift selection, just to help you out.

1.

Every Dad has done this before. It’s only natural for men once they reach a certain age to break one of fashion’s cardinal rules by wearing socks with sandals. Not even short socks, either. Save him the trouble by investing in a pair of these sandal-printed socks, sure to tickle the whole family’s funny bone.

2. Mr. Beer Premium Home Microbrewery System

Practically every Father on the planet loves to kick back and relax with a tall, cold pint of beer, whether it be at home or at the pub. Give him a gift that keeps on giving with this Home Microbrewery System by Mr. Beer, so that he can brew his own pints at home for those nights he fancies staying in. Labcoat and goggles optional.

3. Golf Mug

The perfect gift for those Dads that love to get out and about on a golf course when the weather permits it, but we Brits know that is hardly ever the case. This mug is also a nifty little present for a Father that tends to get a little bored at work, but we won’t tell the Boss if you don’t!

4. Steel Ice Cubes

What do you get the Father that has everything? Why, Steel Ice Cubes of course! These ingeniously designed cubes freeze faster than your average cube, and with their metal holding, they manage to stay colder for longer as well, guaranteeing your Dad’s drink will get cool and stay cool with the help of these little guys!

Review of the month winner for May

It’s that time of the month again. No not that time of the month, but the time of the month where we pick our product review winner… What did you think we were on about?! Without a doubt the winner this month is Alex who wrote a review of the QU-AX Unicycle and also uploaded photos of his son having a really good attempt at looking controlled and dignified on it. We’re impressed. It’s certainly a lot better than any of us lot could do.

If you’ve got any photos of you using your IWOOT product then why not upload it to our Facebook page. We’ll soon be launching the functionality to upload photos on the product pages again like the olden days so watch this space…

QU-AX Unicycle – 5 stars

Excellent for one wheel…

My son purchased one of these out of money he had saved from selling his old toys. He is mad about unicycling and really wanted his own when we came across this decision was instant. Excellent item cheaper than everywhere else and very strong unicycle lovely condition really well made very strong. The added bonus of 2 seat posts so unicycle can grow along with user is fantastic. My son has since recommended this to all his friends as he is well and truly happy.”

Food envy: Angry Birds cupcakes

Could someone please make the IWOOT team some of these please:

We can’t get enough of these fuming fowls whether it’s on the iPhone or the cuddly, all most real-life versions, but having seen these cupcakes (check out all the other attempts on Google: search ‘Angry Birds cupcakes’) we’re now partially obsessed with eating a cupcake with an Angry Bird on it.

Review of the Month Winner for April

We’ve had a tonne load of reviews for the products you rate the best (or if you’ve been honest, the not so good) this month and as usual we’ve read through them all and selected one lucky winner. Our thanks go to GarryBacon who produced this thorough review of the ZAGGmate iPad Case & Keyboard and walks away with £100 of IWOOT vouchers. Not bad for stringing a few sentences together.

Practicality, Simplicity and Ingenious!

Those three words sum up this product. It’s Practical because you can get the Apple Keyboard Dock but you have to carry that around additionally and it’s bulky. This is a keyboard and case. The keyboard is bluetooth so you can have the orientation set to how you want it. It’s simple to pair, use and pack away, my nan can do it! It’s just ingenious in the way everything fits together to form what is effectively a very strong protector for the front of the iPad. Another thing is it’s cheap! A bluetooth keyboard and a good case costs more than this and with this your getting a case and keyboard that are made for each other. The design is so nice because it’s the exact same aluminium they use to make the iPad. If you get this case you will be as happy and as proud to own one as I am. I would really recommend this to anyone and everyone!”

This could be you next month, so do keep reviewing your purchases – you could win big (£100 to be exact)!
