CODE: BICYGN
Bicygnals, you may be forgiven for thinking this is about listening to Lisa Minnelli show tunes in an A&F T shirt, but you'd be wrong. They are in fact the cleverest thing to be invented for a bicycle since, oh I don't know, handlebars? The reason bicycles have handlebars is because, not unsurprisingly, you kind of need your hands to steer (which on the whole has nothing to do with American cattle), and handlebars do a pretty good job of it. This is all very logical, and seems to have caught on, which is good, but there is a flaw. When you need to turn left or right, you need to let people know, which means lifting one hand off your steering wheel (so to speak) and halving your control. Added to this lack of control is the fact that on a busy road, with those horrid car things zooming about, the only thing to let them know what you're doing is one frail arm flapping about, which at 30mph on a rainy night is more or less invisible to an alert car driver, let alone a tired one. Solution, indicators! It's been tried before, but the Heath Robinson inventions of the past have been rubbish, whereas Bicygnals harness the joy of wireless technology and the coolth (?) of contemporary design. They clip on and off your bike with ease, and even clip together and have a carry pouch for when you're not biked up. A simple flick of your thumb gets both the front and rear signals winking away without a single wire between them. Brilliant concept, glorious design, simple, clean, efficient and really rather clever. Keep your hands where you need them and be seen.

Bit like a gremlin...
I gave these as a gift to a keen cyclist friend. He thought they were great and they worked well. Unfortunately on a long bike ride he got caught in the rain - the indicators haven't worked since. (the lights were still fine) So they are a good idea but don't let them get too wet.

Just what I wanted
After much searching locally I found Bicygnals via Google. I ride an electric bike so need to controll the twist grip for power which is not possible whilst making hand signals. I fitted Bicygnals very easily so now ride safely. I have a box on the back so had to make a modification for the rear unit with an 'L' bracket. Great units, good delivery. Thank you iwoot.

Brilliant!!
I bought this in April last year. 9 months later and it is working as good as when it was knew. Much clearer than regular bike lights & you also get the indicators. Highly recommended. Removes easily so if you leave your bike in a public place you can take the lights with you in the bag that comes with it. Thanx IWOOT!!

Great product
Bought this as a gift for the man who has everything. I didn't know what to get & searched IWOOT & came across them. He had seen them in bike mags apparently but thought they were a bit gimmicky, but is really impressed with them & they are so bright. I'm so pleased I chose a great gift.

Looks good so far
The bicygnals arrives in good condition and in good time - my full review is delayed until the people I bought my bike from have worked out how to fit the bicygnals to my bike that they provided me with.
