Description

The Aurora Mood Clock works its way through no fewer than TWELVE colours as it phases through the spectrum. If you're prone to seeing only shades of grey first thing in the morning, imagine the joy of waking up to this gorgeously moody little clock, which cycles through the different colours, quietly changing on each hour to remind you that time waits for no-one.

If you use it as a bedside alarm clock, you can switch off the rainbow effects while you sleep. All it takes is a gentle tap on the clock's tactile, rubbery top to light it up for about 30 seconds so that you can see the time without knocking your glass of water or book off the bedside table.

  • Multi-Phase Colour Change Alarm Clock.
  • Please note - the clock will only phase through colours when a mains adapter (not included) is used. The alarm clock will still function without colour-changing feature with batteries alone.
  • The clock has a battery saving mode so it will only light up for 30 seconds at a time.
  • Date and time LCD display.
  • Flashing light function.
  • Sound alarm function.
  • Requires 4 x AAA Batteries (not included).
  • Size: 8 x 8 x 8 cm

Please remove the divider when you first use the clock.

Absolutely brill! The light is a nice touch, not too bright that it's hard on your eyes if you're checking the time in the middle of the night. Bought it after I'd seen a friend with one and think it's the best alarm clock I've had!

night light

The gentle clock/light is enough to see your bed in the dark but not too bright to wake you up when you check the time. The time display is easy to read and alarm sound is calming enough not to startle you in the morning. One tap of the clock and the light comes on and stays lit for approximately 30 seconds. Overall a good little gadget.

Splendid!

Oh my goodness, I love this clock. Only just got some batteries into it, so I can't comment on how it weathers with time (no pun intended, I promise), but my first impressions are definitely all to the good. 1. It's so compact! I have a tendency to over-crowd my surfaces, mainly with things like this, so it's a pleasure to find something that fits neatly in amongst my other various photo frames, candles, glowy things etc. 2. It changes colour! I can't emphasise enough how great I think this feature is. I was alarmed at first (again, no intended pun - you're starting to disbelieve that now, aren't you?) because my eyes had glossed over the part about it changing every /hour/ and I thought it was meant to change with every tap. But having re-read the description, all was well once more. 3. It's battery-powered! My plug sockets are really awkwardly placed and what with beside lights and such I really didn't need more hassle trying to sort out cables. I have no idea how long four AAA batteries will last in this, at the moment, but the battery saving time-out should definitely help extend their life. 4. It glows. ^^ What can I say? I'm a geek, and a small child at heart. I adore this amazingly cute little clock. Five out of five, on arrival. Good work, IWOOT.

I liked it BUT it broke

I brought this for my boyfriend for christmas, we both really loved it but then for no reason, it stopped working. It kept resetting itself and ramdomly playing through all the colours, we thought it was the batteried but we changed them and it still did it, so my opinion of it is that it is cool, but NOT HARDWEARING

Awesomely soothing and neat

I bought this as one of several gifts off of iWoot for my beloved's birthday. He tends to gravitate to things such as this clock..with the different colours and glow. I had been looking for a UK based website that was fairly priced and had interesting items and found iWoot. ( I am in the USA and he is currently in Ireland) Come midnight on his birthday, he opened his beautifully and expertly wrapped box and found all his items--including this clock. He was SO happy with it! We were webcamming it and I got to see the look on his face as he opened this item. I was under the impression that this needed an adapter to be purchased to have it work but apparently there WAS an adapter or powercord with it and he went to plug it in and set it up. ( I dunno if that is normal NOW or what but it DID have a power cord with it) He said it glows beautifully! He loves how the colour changes and that it is just perfect! Its not too bright nor too dim and he can't wait to wake up to it. He reports that it is very soothing and brings just the right mood to a darkened room! He said it was a sturdy product and it was 'cute' too. The look in his face tells me that he is being genuine and he really likes this very, very, very much! I highly recommend this product..as well as iWoot to anyone in Europe AND the USA as well. iWoot has such awesome, fairly priced, cool items..and I cannot wait to spread the word as much as I can about this clock and iWoot at as a whole! iWoot is far superior to anything stateside I have ever dealt with! and the clock: LOVED IT Even better: loved the look on his face as he played with this..and all his other gifts from here! Priceless! TY TY TY iWoot!

Oooo, shiny!

This clock is very, very cool. I purchased it as a gift for someone special, but.. er.. ended up keeping it. Ahem. The glow is absolutely lovely. Not too bright, not too dim. When it changes, it's very subtle and calming. When you have it set to off, it only lights up when you tap it on the top. However, I've found that a swift, sleepy punch to the side also does the trick - you know the sort, waking up early in the dark morning, don't really want to but have to.. then you just LUNGE out for your light up clock. This little clock takes it like an absolute pro, and lights up at the power of your fist. (Note: I do not recommend punching the clock. The clock did not do anything to you.) A very, very good gift, and will go down well with anyone who recieves it. I'm sure my friend would have LOVED it.

Aurora Mood Clock

Brilliant, we are really pleased with it. I bought one for my son who is 13, he loves it, now my daughter wants one. I have also bought a couple for birthday presents for friends, its good for children of both sexes, especially boys who i think can be hard to buy for. The only thing against it is that we were a little surprised that it doesn't come with a power pack but works fine with batteries.

Very good value for money

I purchased this for my daughter for christmas, She loves it! Easy to use which is fab for a 10 year old. I would have given it a perfect 5 had it come with its own adaptor, luckily I used one I had spare which was meant for a Hub phone!! Also as my daughter is getting older I wanted to keep the christmas spirit going for one more year, so I asked for this clock to be wrapped and had a handwrtten message from santa!! Fantastic I thought.... until my daughter opened it and it had IWOOT tape on it!! She was at home when I took delivery....So maybe IWOOT needs to use plain tape underneath the wrapping paper at christmas??!! But 4 out of 5 aint bad is it!! Brilliant little clock not too bright at night.. :) Thank you IWOOT will definately shop again!!

I was stuck for a Christmas present...

...so I came on here. I love the clock. You can display a colour every hour, or flashing random colours. Also, for the light sleepers, the light can be turned off. However, you just tap it to display the time, or to turn the alarm off which is very useful. You must turn the alarm off underneath though, or it will go off every 5 minutes! The only bad point is that the buttons to set the time and the alarm could be a little bigger, but this is a small hardship.

Teenage Daughter Pleased

I didn't realise just how cute the clock was til it arrived. My teenage daughter was so pleased when she opened it on Christmas day. I can't believe how easy it is to set the alarm, and I haven't had to wake my daughter up in the morning since she got it. We have found it easier to get an adaptor to power it, as it eats batteries very quickly.

Aurora Mood Clock Sounds Off!

We used to wake up grumpy till we received our Aurora Mood Clocks. Now its just a gentle awakening to the changing colours of a beautiful dawn light as it brings us gently from our slumbers to the wonderful realisation that its 5:45 am on a Monday at the start of a glorious week's work ahead. Then we get grumpy!

great purchase

mood clock was an excellent buy as during the night i often found myself going to another room, if i woke up to see what time it was as i didn't want to put the light on and disturb my husband. so now i just tap my mood clock on the top and the time appears, different color 4 every hour and i don't have to leave the bed

Funky little clock

I bought this clock for myself and am really pleased with it - I love the way the whole clock is lit and changes colour every hour. The display is large and clear, and it even has an alarm function. The only down side for me really is that I had to buy a power lead for it, as the clock won't stay lit permanently on battery power. This was easy to find on ebay though.

HMmmm...

A great little clock. But it would be even better if the info clearly stated that it wouldn't 'glow' through the colour spectrum unless powered by an AC adaptor - that isn't included! With batteries - you only get the glow briefly when you press the clock to see what time it is or when the alarm goes off. So I've got a plain white plastic cube on my bedside table. Attractive...

how cool is this!!

well, this really is quite a cool little clock. If you want to know what the time is in the nite, slap it on the head and the lights come on..just be warned that it is bright and youll see little floaty things after it beams in your eyes ! But its very stylish and fun, get it you wont be at all disapointed! It takes 4x AA batterys, but will run on just one! (as i think the other three are used for the lights)

Love it

I totally love this clock. It's not fancy BUT i really like the simplicity of design, colours and view. The only drawback is that it doesn't say, until you buy it, that for continuous coloured lights you need a cable (which is not supplied) to connect to a switch. Still you wouldn't want it on all night...

Lovely little clock

This is a great little clock - really pretty colours, great size. Just two small criticisms - the buttons on the bottom are REALLY hard to press, and the LCD isn't the clearest I've ever seen. Having said that, I don't regret buying it. Its cute, useful, tells the time and wakes me up! Couldn't want any more.
