Audio Backpack

Music used to be a shared experience, a chance for people to get together and get on down (or something). Since the advent of the personal portable sound system, it seems music has become a rather selfish indulgence. Well we reckon it's time to share again, and this cool gadget does just that. Not only is the Audio Backpack a great multi-pocketed and tough day sack, it also incorporates a pair of 10cm directional 5 watt 2 channel speakers! The speakers are attached to hinged flaps so they can be re-positioned at will, and are powered by 6 AA batteries which will give you about ten hours of continuous play, and there's a power amplifier with speaker and player inputs.

Audio Backpack The back pack itself is made from 600D PE water resistant rip-stop nylon fabric, and features padded shoulder straps and back panel, a large main gear compartment (36 litre volume), dual side accessory pockets, reverse zippers, internal neoprene pocket for your CD or MP3 player, an elastic mesh pocket for a mobile phone, and a large front pocket for the amplifier and your accessories. The front audio/camera pod is quick-release, so you can easily detach it and use it as a separate bag for your electronics when you want to travel light.
