There just aren't enough ridiculous scenarios in the world. And that's a fact we all have to get used to. However, these wonderful folk over in Milton Keynes have seen to it that skydiving indoors in a giant wind tunnel isn't one of them. Hurrah!

Experience the kind of rush usually reserved for F1 racing cars in aerodynamic testing - but know you're a) not inanimate, b) not at risk, in later life, of rust or punctures, and c) totally safe throughout! Yes, it's suitable for five-year-olds and up!

After check-in there's a short class with a video brief and instruction, then it's off to collect your flight gear. The action takes place in a 12ft diameter flight chamber with wind-speeds of up to 150mph (241 kph). You and your group will enter the tunnel and take it in turns to fly. You each get 2 flights of one minute each, which is the same as three tandem skydives. In your first flights you will learn the basic freefall position. You will receive a DVD to remember your experience on the day.

• You must be reasonably fit to participate in this activity and there is a maximum weight restriction of 114kg (18 stone). It is not suitable for pregnant women, if you suffer from a dislocated shoulder or wearing a hard cast.
