With this experience you will learn everything from husbandry (no giggling - there's no guarantee of a practical demonstration), treatment of ill birds and feeding macaws in the aviary.

Introduction to Falconry: It seems quite likely that falconry has been practiced around the word for over two and half thousand years, so they should be about good enough by now to teach you a thing or two! There's so much to learn about the equipment and techniques, and you will get a chance to have a go at most of it as well, including flying a bird 'to the fist' so you will get a chance to see them in up close and personal as they come in to land on your arm.

Horse discovery: If your previous experience of racing has been wearing a big hat, or trying to work out how much you have won (or lost) on the gee-gees, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you to see behind the scenes. With a racing professional on hand to answer any questions, you will get to see the gallops and the trainer's stables as well as having access to the members' area for the afternoon's racing .

Owl Handling: When any animal can swivel its head up to 180 degrees, it's hard not to be impressed. And if you have one flying towards you with a view to landing on your arm, you will quickly realise how many other stunning qualities they have. From the mighty eagle owl to the relatively miniature barn owl, you won't find a more intriguing hunter, but there will be plenty of time to make sure you capture the experience on camera.
