Description

With the 3.5 Inch Digital TV and Multimedia Player you can watch all your favourite freeview channels on the go on the players 3.5 inch screen. So, the next time you're stuck in a cab between meetings you can tune in to BBC News to catch up on the days events or sneak in an episode of Judge Judy (don't look at us that way, it's a perfectly acceptable program and she's a real judge and everything). Setting it up is a breeze - just use the adapter to hook it up to your tv aerial and let the automatic tuner do its part. Once that's finished you just plug in the portable aerial and you're good to go. It doesn't just stop at freeview on the go - you can load an SD card up with the movies and music of your choice and use it as a portable cinema or MP3 player.

fantastic hand held TV

A fantastic small but pefectly formed hand held TV. The picture quality is outstanding a little patience is needed in the initial set up but once up and running it's a doddle. I bought it for my husband, a HGV driver, as he often has to wait sometimes several hours at a depot and it's ideal for him to use anywhere. Also he can play music too and load a memory card with movies he has recorded. It'a great all rounder and I am really glad I chose this as a gift.

Product looks good and delivery was very prompt. Unfortunately I am unable to get a descent signal on the TV unless I actually plug it into the main TV aerial which defeats the purpose of a portable TV. I assume that the signals in NYorks are bad. If not then the product is disappointing.

Great media player, useless TV player!

When I saw this I though it would be the perfect gadget to keep in my pocket for when im out and about as I do a lot of travelling and miss TV a lot, and have exactly the hectic lifestyle this player is aimed at for! Works great as a multimedia player as plays all kinds of video and music files off an SD card (not included) without having to convert file types or anything, and has a really clear screen to view movies etc on. However, the 'portable' tv part is next to useless. I live on a hill with direct line of sight to a transmitter only a couple of miles away in a high gain area, but cannot pick up even the slightest freeview signal at all on it using its built in aerial or even the supplied portable aerial. The only way to get a signal on it has been to connect to a rooftop aerial, which is both neither practical (or even do-able) when on the move, and negates the whole 'portable' part of the player. How anyone is supposed to be able to watch TV on a train or in a cab is beyond me im afraid! In summary, great little media player, but rubbish digital freeview player.
