The Panasonic SC-NP10 is a 2.1 channel Bluetooth Speaker System that can be used as a stand to hold an iPad or tablet and improve the way you listen to music or watch films. With stereo speakers and a built-in subwoofer, the speaker outputs 21 watts of total power output and near-field technology to ensure even close up listening offers realistic stereo separation.

Versatile network features include Bluetooth and NFC wireless connection, while the 2 x USB ports can be used to charge your devices. Bluetooth audio playback provides powerful bass and surround sound that's perfect for music or enhancing the sound while you watch films. A built-in universal stand enables you to use your tablet in portrait or landscape mode.

This compact speaker system is able to produce such excellent sound thank to its integrated 3" subwoofer and pair of front facing full-range speakers. H.Bass processing is designed to enhance the bass. Noise cancelling technology is developed in the audio processor to deliver clear sound and prevent sound reflections that can distort sound.

Direct Dialogue Surround positions effects and background sound in a surround configuration and emphasises the dialogue so the vocals are clear. A surround button on the NP10 converts stereo sound sources to a surround sound effect, this feature adds an extra level of sound to make movies even more exciting.

Wireless streaming enables you to enjoy music from any device from a tablet or smartphone. Panasonic's Bluetooth Re-mastering technology compensates for the loss in treble sound, so you can enjoy high quality sound.

Control you music with ease via the Panasonic Music Streaming App. This enables you to play music from your home network to the speaker regardless of whether it's DLNA or Bluetooth, the app will select the correct streaming technology. It takes away the hassle of finding the correct streaming technology, simply launch the app and pick the music you want to hear. - A.D.

Sound!!

Already having the Panasonic sound shelf , I thought I would give the NP10 a go for the the ipad, as I use it a lot for music, videos, games etc. Its a compact unit, only about the size of a ipad (but about the thickness of an old fashioned telephone directory) Connecting to bluetooth is painless and there are a couple of usbs at the back which can be used to charge your devices. There are three sound modes which I would call, stereo, expanded and stadium, which can be changed by pressing a button on the top. The latter is too echoey. expanded is great for most uses and if you"re cranking the volume up on some basey music tracks c hane it to stereo. It will fill the room easily. Also on the to are buttons for bluetooth pairing, volume up and down and power on/off. There is a groove runninng allong the top and a half circle which flips up to act as a rest. There is also a cool blue light which can be switched off. I, along with other user ratings regard the unit very highly as it is not over basey. It certainly pumps it out, which all credit to the units size is remarkable(I love Bose but to me the soundlink mini demonstrates this). My only criticism is that it is not battery powered, but then it never said it was. Highly recoomend and when taking into account the price adivertised on IWOOT (and excellent turn round time) it offers £ per sound excellent value for money.
