Adequate
The rainbow projector is very good in the dark and the size can be changed from large to small very easily. It isn't very good in daylight though as it is very difficult to see. I also received a window rainbow maker, basically a diamond shaped piece of plastic, but it was bought in winter so I haven't been able to test it's effectiveness..
Great gift
Went down very well for my god daughter on her 7th birthday - she and her 5 year old brother though it was magic and anything that makes children want to turn the lights out and watch in wonder is a win in my book!
