You can download almost any song imaginable from the IKO Store, and when played on your iPod or iPhone it comes up as a karaoke video with words and music.

Plug in the included microphone to sing along, and if you've got another one you can plug it in too for duets. Perhaps the most ingenious function, though, allows you to remove the vocal track from tracks you sing along to (for use with multiplex karaoke tracks). The cradle on the top of the unit (which looks slightly like a food processor) allows you to tilt your iPhone into portrait or landscape profile to make it as easy as possible to read the words as possible. Or, if you fancy seeing the words on the big screen, you can connect the iMusic to your TV.

As if all that wasn't enough, it also has alarm clock and radio functions to make getting up a much more pleasant process than usual. Most of all, though, this is just about the greatest way to do karaoke on the cheap. Great fun with mates, great tunes and a great bit of kit.
